We hosted this live story-telling event in partnership with the Lander Climate Action Network!

Inspired by Dr. Seuss’s beloved tale of The Lorax, who encourages us to protect our natural world, our theme for the evening was “Unless…”

We gathered together with an incredible lineup of local musicians and storytellers from our community in support of one of our own, Jordan Carr.

Performers included Wolf Johnson, Pushroot, Red Dangit, and Christian Wallowing Bull. Stories were told by Monte Richardson, Angie Flint, Chanthy Foy, Chuck Carr, and Todd Gunther.

A silent auction included items graciously donated by local businesses and artists including Noelle Weimann, Maven Optics, Wild Elegy Jewelry, Botanica Bead & Jewelry, Rosie Ratigan, Kacie DeKleine, ReBound, Dandelion Floral, The Middle Fork, Pushroot Brewing, Wild Iris Mountain Sports, Climb Strong / Elemental Performance + Fitness, Stacy Wells, CWC ASI, Snow Deep Designs, Cowfish, Gannett Grill, Lincoln Street Bakery, and more!

We partnered with Central Wyoming College in support of their Beginning Farm Training program!

This special event included dinner, a farm tour, live music, and – of course – storytelling, with the theme for the evening being “Lander Roots.”

We partnered with the Wyoming Wildlife Federation in celebration of wild food, wild places, and conservation at the 2023 Wild Game Cook-Off!

Our storytelling theme for the event was “How the Wild Feeds You.”

Storytellers included Justin Frey, Jaden Bales, Mara Gans, and chef Eduardo Garcia.

Held as part of this year’s International Climbers Festival, our theme for the evening was “Close Call.” Stories were told by Gabe Joyes, Mandy Fabel, Dennis Van Denbos, James Piana, and Kris Hampton.

Jason Tyler Burton, the featured musician of Season 1 of our podcast, not only told a story but also performed live!

Hosted in partnership with the Lander Art Center, celebrating the closing of Reflection: The Art of Being exhibition, this event’s theme was “Look Closer” and featured several storytellers who also had works in the exhibition. Stories were told by Fiadh Vincent, Ruthanna Reardon, Amber Nation, Sam Martinich, and Cristina Gonzales.

Hosted in partnership with the LVHS’s Speak Club, this Schoolihan story slam event had the theme of “Changing of Seasons.”

Held as part of the Bookmarked Literary Arts Festival, this event’s theme was “Origin Story.” Stories were told by Lor Sabourin, Tam DeRudder Jackson, Josie McKee, Sarah Reilley, and Kris Hampton.

Hosted in partnership with Wind River Pride, this event’s theme was “Coming Home.” Stories were told by Polly Hinds, Ari Kamil, Annalise Wright, Cal Bulmash, Felanie Kelson, Cruz Yochum, and others.

Hosted in partnership with Wind River Pride, this event’s theme was “Wild Heart.” Stories were told by Mac Woolley, Lor Sabourin, Polly Hinds, and Layha Spoonhunter.

Hosted in partnership with the Wyoming Outdoor Council, this event’s theme was “The Spark.” Stories were told by Justin Forrest Parks, Jessie Allen, Scott Kane, Andi LeBeau-Clifford, and Dan Heilig.

Hosted in partnership with the Todd Skinner Legacy as a fundraising event, this event’s theme was “Never Let the Truth Get In the Way of a Good Story.” Stories inspired by Todd Skinner were told by Mike Lilygren, Sam Lightner, Kris Hampton, Ty Mack, Steve Bechtel, and Kirk Billings.

Hosted in partnership with the LVHS’s Speak Club, this Schoolihan event’s theme was “What You Don’t See.” Stories were told by Wolf Johnson, Chris Rabb, Nate Shoutis, Ana Junker, and others.

Hosted in partnership with ATLAS (At Lander Arts and Sciences), our theme for this event was “Whiskey Is For Drinking, Water For Fighting Over.” Event proceeds went to the Healthy Rivers Initiative. Stories were told by George Hunker, Del McOmie, Mike Dabich, Rob Weimann, Justin Fielding, Lynn McRann, Jason Baldes, and Rob Hilyer.

Our theme for this live story-telling event was “Love Is…” Stories were told by Mark Calhoun, Taurey Carr, Mei Ratz, Annalissa Purdum, Sarah Syverson, and Lucille Whisler.

Held as part of the International Climbers Festival, our theme for this event was “Float.” Stories were told by Lila Leatherman, Paul Piana, Kitty Calhoun, and Kris Hampton.

Hosted in partnership with the LVHS’s Speak Club, our first Schoolihan event’s theme was “Turning Points.” Stories were told by Mac Mann-Wood, Brooke Davidson, Artemis Langford, Ella Burns, Mark Roy, Paul Primrose, and Shay Chand.

Our theme for this live story-telling event was “Any Minute.” Stories were told by Mac Mann-Wood, Ellen Bechtel, Jordan Carr, Bill Yankee, Louisa Austin, Li Platz, and Griffin Leemon.

Our very first live story-telling event’s theme was “Time Out.” Stories were told by Todd Guenther, Amy Rathke, Jess Johnson, Dave Kalgren, Wolf Johnson, and Willy Ratz.
