Bill Yankee: Not Like They Showed on TV
Bill Yankee actually knows how to throw the houlihan…
…which is just one of his many talents! As a teacher, a rancher, a trucker, and an artist, he’s touched the lives of many during his more than 40 years spent living in Lander.
He told this great story at our event held on January 6, 2018 at the Bhava Shala in Lander, Wyoming. Our theme that evening was “Any Minute.”
These days, Bill and his wife, Norma, are enjoying amazing views on the northwest shore of Flathead Lake in Montana where they moved after selling their ranch on the Little Popo Agie in 2021. They decided that they had at least one more big adventure in them, and now they’re living it!
