Ty Mack: I Call It “Half Dome”

Ty Mack has spent decades in the Teton Valley…

…enjoying the activities that both its rock and snow have to offer. After working in water conservation for many years, he switched gears in 2010 and co-founded an artisan bread business, 460 Bread, based in Driggs, Idaho.

He told this story at our tribute to Todd Skinner event, held on July 25, 2019 at the Museum of the American West in Lander, Wyoming. Our theme that evening was “Never Let the Truth Get in the Way of a Good Story.”

Since selling the bakery almost two years ago, Ty’s new personal mission has been to have adventures with the people he loves! He still lives in the Teton Valley with his family, his boys are now ages 6 and 8, and he has recently joined the Climb Strong coaching team.

Here are some photos of Ty and his family, plus a few from Ty’s story.
